Table Mountain
South Africa and especially the region around Cape Town offer a wealth of outstanding sights that are world-famous. The city lies at the foot of what is probably South Africa’s most impressive sight, Table Mountain. At more than 1000 meters high, it offers a breathtaking view over Cape Town and the surrounding sea. A cable car takes you directly to the top of the mountain. Alternatively, there are also hiking trails that lead up Table Mountain through the nature reserve.
Cape of Good Hope
A popular excursion destination of world renown is the Cape of Good Hope, which is about an hour’s drive from the center of Cape Town. A cog railroad takes you to a height of around 200 meters, from where you can enjoy an impressive view of the infamous shipping route. Here you can enjoy a spectacular view of the Cape’s beaches, the Hottentots Mountains and the confluence of the two oceans.
Stellenbosch
Fifty kilometers separate the Stellenbosch wine-growing region from Cape Town. The area is characterized by old oak trees and forms the center of the wine routes. The landscape and the Cape Dutch architecture of the town are the special features of the region. Numerous restaurants offer the exquisite wines of the region and invite you to linger in a unique ambience. Durbanville (15 min drive), Franschhoek & Paarl also offer world class wine estates to enjoy wine tastings as well as lunches and many are child friendly.
Safari
In addition to its scenic attractions, South Africa offers a diverse wildlife, which can also be admired on numerous safari routes. Here you can explore nature in its pristine state. The safaris in the Kruger National Park are among the best known and most beautiful: the vastness of the park allows for extensive routes and a wide range of different forms. In this nature reserve, you can encounter wild animals in a mixture of adventure, breathtaking nature and fascination.

Montagu
Montagu is a town in the Western Cape province of South Africa, about 180 kilometres from Cape Town in the Western Little Karoo. Nearby rock formations make it one of the country’s major rock climbing venues. The 1,266 m high Bloupunt peak overlooks the village and offers several hiking trails like Bloupunt Hiking Trail & Cogmanskloof Hiking Trail, as well as kloofing and mountain biking trails further afield. The natural mineral hot springs remain a year-round attraction.
Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa
Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa is a public non-profit museum in Cape Town, South Africa. Zeitz MOCAA opened on September 22, 2017 as the largest museum of contemporary art from Africa and its diaspora. The museum is located in the Silo District at the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront in Cape Town.
